1. Who we are

2. What data we collect
- Orders: name, billing and delivery address, email, phone number, order and payment details.
- Account: your login details and order history (if you create an account).
- Forms: the details you enter in our contact, franchise, jobs or collaboration forms.
- Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
- Technical: IP address, device and browser information and usage statistics via cookies (see point 5).
3. Why we use it (legal basis)
- To process, deliver and invoice your order (performance of the contract).
- To answer your questions and requests (legitimate interest).
- To send our newsletter (your consent, always revocable).
- To improve and secure the site (legitimate interest / consent for statistics).
- To comply with legal obligations (including accounting).
4. Who we share it with
We never sell your data. We only share it with partners who help us deliver the service:
- Payments: Mollie (payment processing).
- Shipping: DPD (delivery of your parcel).
- Email & hosting: one.com (mailboxes) and Digital Farmers / Hetzner (hosting within the EU).
- Statistics: Google (Analytics), only after your consent.
5. Cookies
We use necessary cookies (for cart, language and security) and, only with your consent, statistics and marketing cookies. You manage your choice via the cookie notice at the bottom of the site, which you can reopen at any time. Statistics and marketing cookies only load after you give consent (Google Consent Mode).
6. How long we keep it
Order and invoice data are kept as long as the law requires (in Belgium usually 7 years for accounting). Form submissions and newsletter subscriptions are kept no longer than necessary, or until you unsubscribe.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you can withdraw a given consent at any time. Email contact@chocotale.be. We respond within 30 days.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures (encrypted connections, access control, secure hosting within the EU) to protect your data.
9. Complaints
