Refund and Returns Policy

Our chocolate is made and shipped with care. Here is exactly what applies to returns and refunds.

Food products (chocolate)

Chocolate and related food are perishable and sealed foodstuffs. For reasons of health and hygiene the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to these once delivered (Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law). These products therefore cannot be returned or refunded simply because you change your mind.

Non-perishable items

For non-perishable items (e.g. gift packaging or merchandise) the 14-day right of withdrawal does apply. Contact us at contact@chocotale.be; return costs are borne by the customer unless agreed otherwise.

Damaged or wrong delivery

Did your order arrive damaged or is something wrong? Report it within 48 hours of receipt with a photo at contact@chocotale.be. We will resolve it with a replacement or refund.

Refunds

An approved refund is made to your original payment method within 14 days of our approval.
